Who it is for

You know something needs to change.

You do not need an executive title or a perfectly formed goal. We begin with your situation and what you would like to be different.

Do you replay conversations or second-guess choices long after the moment has passed?

You replay conversations, second-guess decisions or fall into familiar reactions—even when you want to respond differently.

Are you facing a life change and unsure what matters most now?

You are navigating change and want space to reflect on your priorities and the direction you want to take.

Do you understand a familiar pattern but find it difficult to respond differently?

You understand parts of the pattern and want individual support to turn that awareness into everyday choices.

Our introductory coaching conversation helps us decide whether coaching is appropriate for your needs. This is personal development coaching, not therapy, medical treatment or crisis support. Read the professional scope.

The program

Understand. Practise. Integrate.

We explore the responses that keep returning, what may be sustaining them and how to practise different choices. The work is shaped around your goals, with a pace agreed together.

Support continues beyond the working sessions: two integration appointments and reviews at six and twelve months help you apply the work and reflect on your progress over time.

  1. 01

    Understand your patterns

Five working sessions · three hours each

Clarify what you want to change, explore recurring patterns and the beliefs connected with them, and develop resources and practical choices that support your goals. The content adapts to you.

  2. 02

Bring the work into daily life

Two integration sessions · one hour each

Review what is changing in real situations, work through difficulties and strengthen what is useful. These sessions are spaced approximately four weeks apart, with timing confirmed together.

  3. 03

    Return and reflect

Reviews at six and twelve months

Revisit your goals and progress, acknowledge what has held and identify where further attention may help. These reviews are scheduled from completion of the core program.

The complete program includes nine appointments. Your complimentary introductory coaching conversation is separate from these nine program appointments. Brief email support for preparation, scheduling and integration is included; it is not ongoing on-demand coaching. Your written agreement confirms the schedule and support boundaries.

Progress in everyday life

Notice what becomes different.

We agree practical goals at the start and return to them throughout the program. Your goals might include:

Recover sooner

Notice how long it takes to regain perspective after a difficult conversation or setback.

Choose with more confidence

Recognize repeated second-guessing and practise making considered decisions with less back-and-forth.

Use the tools yourself

Recognize a familiar reaction earlier and use a practice independently in a real situation.

These are examples of coaching goals, not promised results. We review your own observations and practical examples of what is changing.

His experience in coaching and personal change is supported by decades in finance and senior leadership. He brings that practical perspective to work that is deeply personal: understanding what matters to you and helping you take the next step at a pace you agree together. Each exercise is explained first, and you can decline it.

You remain the decision-maker throughout. Progress is reviewed against the changes that matter in your life; outcomes are individual and are not guaranteed.

Questions & answers

How the coaching works

Is this coaching a good fit for what I’m facing?

You do not need an executive title or a perfectly formed goal. We begin with your situation and what you would like to be different.

The Personal Breakthrough Program supports personal development around recurring patterns and life changes. Our introductory coaching conversation helps us decide whether coaching is appropriate for your needs. It is not therapy, medical treatment or crisis support.

What happens in the free introductory coaching conversation?

You have 60 minutes to discuss what you would like to change, ask questions and explore whether coaching is suitable. Personal concerns, executive challenges or both are welcome.

No special preparation or detailed personal history is needed. There is no obligation to enrol. If we agree to proceed, the scope, fees and arrangements are confirmed in writing.

What does the Personal Breakthrough Program include, and what does it cost?

The complete program is CAD $5,000 plus applicable taxes. It includes five working sessions of three hours each, two integration sessions of one hour each, and reviews at six and twelve months. Appointments are private, live video sessions.

The complimentary introductory coaching conversation is separate from these nine program appointments. Scope, fees, payment arrangements and support boundaries are confirmed in writing before you enrol.

How are the Personal Breakthrough sessions paced?

The program includes five extended working sessions, two integration sessions and reviews at six and twelve months. The complimentary introduction is separate from those nine appointments.

We agree the schedule and pace together. Between sessions, you may practise agreed exercises and notice how they affect real situations.

How will we review my progress?

We agree practical goals at the start and return to them throughout the program. These may include regaining perspective after a difficult conversation, making considered decisions with less second-guessing or using a practice independently.

We review your own observations and practical examples of what is changing. These are examples of coaching goals, not promised results.

What happens if I struggle to apply the work between sessions?

We use the integration sessions to review what is happening in real situations, work through difficulties and strengthen what is useful.

Brief email support covers preparation, scheduling and integration; it is not ongoing on-demand coaching. Your written agreement confirms the schedule and support boundaries.

Do I have to use every technique?

No. Each proposed exercise is explained and discussed with you to establish whether it fits your goals and preferences. You can decline an exercise, ask for another approach or pause at any time.

Why do I keep repeating a pattern even when I know I want to change it?

Knowing what you want and responding differently in the moment are different skills. A familiar situation can trigger a sequence of thoughts, feelings and actions before you have consciously considered your options.

In coaching, we explore that sequence: what sets it off, what you tell yourself, how you respond and what happens next. We then practise alternatives that support the way you want to live or lead.

What do you mean by the “unconscious mind”?

We use this phrase to describe mental processes that happen outside immediate awareness, such as familiar associations, habits and automatic responses.

Some patterns develop through experiences we did not consciously choose or fully understand. They may once have helped us feel safe, gain approval or navigate a difficult situation, but may no longer suit our lives.

Coaching aims to help you recognize these responses and develop more choice in how you respond.

Are these patterns formed in childhood?

Some are. Early experiences and relationships can strongly influence how we learn to respond to ourselves, other people and uncertainty. Other patterns develop later through relationships, work, repeated experiences and significant events.

The idea of “old software” can be a helpful analogy for a familiar response that runs automatically. It is an analogy—not a literal description of the mind. Our capacity to learn and develop new responses continues throughout life.

What is NLP, and how might it be used in coaching?

Neuro-linguistic programming, or NLP, is a collection of approaches that explore connections between language, attention, mental imagery and behaviour.

An exercise might help you notice how you describe a challenge, consider a different interpretation or rehearse a more useful response. The purpose is to expand your choices and connect insight with action.

We review the impact of these exercises against your goals and the changes you notice in everyday life.

What is hypnosis, and will I remain in control?

Hypnosis involves focused attention and responsiveness to suggestion. In an agreed coaching exercise, it may involve guided imagery and suggestions intended to support the changes you want to practise.

It is a collaborative process. You can ask questions, decline suggestions or stop the exercise. It does not give the coach control over your mind.

The approach is discussed with you beforehand and tailored to your goals and comfort.

What is Timeline Therapy?

Timeline Therapy is a structured approach that uses imagined perspectives on past experiences and the future. The intention is to explore meanings and emotional responses associated with earlier experiences and consider different ways forward.

It does not change what happened or establish that a recalled or imagined event is historically accurate. Finding a forgotten memory is not required for progress.

Despite its name, its use within this program is part of personal development coaching, not a substitute for mental-health treatment.

How does this work address recurring patterns?

We consider both the immediate difficulty and what may be keeping it going. That can include familiar assumptions, learned responses, habits and current circumstances.

For example, repeatedly avoiding a difficult conversation may involve more than a need for better wording. We might explore what the conversation means to you, what you expect will happen and the response you have learned to use.

The aim is to understand the pattern, practise another response and apply it in real situations.

Can the changes last?

Lasting change is the goal, but no responsible approach can promise permanent results for everyone. Progress depends on the person, the concern, their circumstances and how the work is applied.

That is why the Personal Breakthrough Program includes practice, integration sessions and reviews at six and twelve months. We look at what is changing in daily life, what is holding and what needs further attention.
